Emma's certainly making her rounds with just about every member of the X-team.

Was reading another forum, and this bit didn't go over so well, there, with the general consensus being thta Emma is a huge hypocrite, considering
she's done far worse than Charles over the years. One poster said they were waiting for Charles to say "Oh yeah? At least I didn't kill
Firestar's pony."

Wow. Was this a Jean Grey forum? I'm asking because usually someone is leaping to Emma's DEfense not OFfense, if you know what I mean.

It was the Scans Daily Livejournal (I've linked to it a few times, like during the Mutant Zero and The Same But Different discussions). They tend to have
long memories, over there. They even remember the days when Scott wasn't a jerk, and are nostalgic.
With this, they're already ticked off about Marvel pretty much villifying Xavier with all the retcons, but think the dressing down wouldn't have been as bad if it was from anyone but Emma Friggin' Frost. Even those who like Emma's reforming take issue with the hypocrisy for someone who's done way, way, worse things than Charles ever has being so Holier Than Thou. |

I'm sure Firestar's pony would agree with you Perceval!

what did emma do to firestarter?

Ah. That would be Angelica's introduction to the mainstream Marvel Universe in the mid '80s. She was introduced in UXM #193, which led into a self
titled miniseries. Here's the synopsis...
http://en.wikipedia.org/w...Firestar_(limited_series) Emma really shouldn't provoke firey redheads. It never goes well for her. |

But the only thing that has emma's name is the time she offered to teach firestar. did i missed anything?

Read the summary of the whole mini series, not just the first issue of it.

Now i understand... just this once... will you guys allow me to use a diamond baseball bat to turn her to pieces? i do promise to bring her back together
after, and once Jean has returned I promise to ask her direcftly to ressurect Emma again. ^_^

I never read the firestar serie, thanks for the infos...so Emma can ad to her already long list of crime , animal killer as well...manipulating, stealing ,
murdering, killing animal...and she is now the number 1 x-woman!!!!I beleive people can change but not that much...

Oh, she's had a change of heart, if not of personality. The issue a lot of people are having with this issue is her being so Holier Than Thou with Charles.
This right after Scott had ordered Logan to murder Mystique. Of course, that was after he planned on murdering his own son...
Jean really needs to give her old team a major smacking down. Well, after she's got her recently retconned BFF Wanda back to normal. Then, they can do it together, since Scott and company had hard-ons to murder her, too. The X-Men really love the murdering, these days. They got really huffy when the Avengers wouldn't let them murder Wanda. Of course, according to Scott, it's all for the Greater Good. But... isn't doing some bad things for the greater good exactly what Scott'n'Emma are all over Chuck for? |
|||

EXACTLY, perceval. Charles has been retconned into doing some of the bad things that are mentioned in connection with him and I don't agree with them but
he has acknowledged his wrongdoings. Still, he seems to have fallen back into 'bad habits', again and I believe he should be taken to task for it.
But (yes, but, again) NOT by Emma and Scott! They are doing the exact same things that they are accusing Charles of. (Btw, although I detest Emma, Charles
and Scott are two of my other favorite characters.)

Scott and Emma even got mad at Chuck for agreeing with the Avengers when they wouldn't let them murder Wanda. Not being into murdering people right and
left is part of their issue with him. As Spidey told them during that, "Jeez... So, like, if any of my powers wig out on me, I can count
on you to just kill me?" Scott and Logan need to be reminded that they have had their moments of "wigging out" and being a
threat. Emma, meanwhile, was a threat just by choice. And, if I remember correctly... Where did this attitude start? Phoenix: Endsong, when
Scott decided the first and only option to Jean turning up again was KILLKILLKILL. Kitty was right: "Your issues are showing." Jean, Wanda, Raven...
If it's a red haired woman, Scott gives the "Kill" order. Angelica had better avoid San Francisco.
We've always said that Jean was the heart and moral compass of the X-Men, but damn. That seems to be the defining difference between the X-Men and Avengers, now. So, if Mutant Zero is Jean, no wonder she went to them instead of back home.

Yep.
Also I would be verrrryyy interested in seeing her development in this manner. |

yes! I hate Scott's reaction when he first saw Jean in Endsong. It's like, oh, there's my ex-wife whom I shared a lifetime with, let's kill
her. It's just so %@$@%%% of him.

Words cannot express how much I agree, Dani. |
