It was great to see how many people had correctly guessed/deduced the identities of the Horsemen in other Evo threads. I don't recall seeing anyone getting all 4 correct. Logan was kind the wild card since he had already been a Horseless Horsemen in the books, but those who thought it was going to turn out to be the teachers against the students were quite correct.

The breakdown the X-men and New Mutants among the 4 teams suggests that loved ones or those closest in spirit to the particular Horseman will be crucical in defeating and/or freeing them from Apoc's control.

The confrontation I look forward to most will be Jean and Xavier, naturally. A great teacher and his prized pupil forced to battle one another. I'm not sure Jean will "phoenix out" on him to win the battle (assuming she does) but Ms. Grey's abilities are going to have to push beyond what we've seen to have any hope in countering Horsemen Xavier. (Trust me, once you see Xavier in action, you'll understand why!)

Rogue not being a Horsemen - I was hoping she wouldn't because she's already suffered at Apoc's hands, and if she had a hand in his ressurection, I'm thinking she's also going to be crucial in his defeat. (As in Logan's secret mission for her.)

Lucas/Legion not being a Horsemen - Can anyone say "red herring?" It's true that he might show up in Part 2, but the introduction so late in the game of a powerful "evil" mutant made it safe to assume Legion was going to end up a servant of Apocalypse. But now though I'm glad he didn't. I mean, it's not shocking when evil people end up enthralled to uber-evil. When good guys end up thusly, it really rattles the cage.

I saw grumblings about the way I presented the "Ultimate Spoiler" since I pretty much had sloshed the whole episode for y'all. Well, I read spoiler threads myself for various books, shows, movies, and it seems that no matter how many warnings a person includes before releasing spoilers, folks always end up complaining that said person spoiled TOO much for them!

So when it came down to the identities of the Horsemen, which was the big, big shocker of the episode, holding back that info for those who gladly wanting the info seemed logical.

Much ado about nothing? Maybe. But a person must add a little drama and showoffiness sometimes!:b

And just think, kiddies...there's still Part 2 to come. Ack!:eek
