Sorry honey...you don't know everything. What you said...in theory it works. I work in hospitals and I have seen just how well the system doesn't work. The worst thing I saw was a women who's FIANCE had smashed (I am talking a huge dent) his head at work and caused severe brain damage, leaving him base challenged. Now, for some reason or another she wasn't allowed in the decision making process and not allowed inside the room...and his life support was shut off. WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE. If you are not married, and granted the legal rights of that institution, the family can override all of your decisions. There is no way to conclude your mental state when you are brain dead, and therefore you default to mentally incapacitated. And if you are married...your spouse takes over. If not, your family does (parents, then children, then siblings...etc,) That is how it works in health care. For the life of me, I can't figure out why you come here to be argue with everyone. No one likes a person who thinks they know everything and seems put on this earth to make everyone feel stupid. While I like a good debate, if someone said the sky was blue...you'd come back and say it wasn't.:rollin
