Link - A call for simply dicussing/deciding upon the original topic at hand with no forays into associated or deemed similiar topics?

How novel! :rollin

I guess this is what they mean by "opening the floodgates."

Gay marriage doesn't exist in a vacuum apparently.

Or a Hoover Upright even. :p

Getting back to the topic at hand then, but with political tones, Governor T-800 is calling for and end to the affair and basically saying that the SF government is breaking state law or at the best flouting it. Is what Mayor Newsom and company doing classified as being criminal activity?

Note: California's Attorney General, while vowing to challenge the actions of the SF government, stated that he did support some form of civil union for homosexuals.

Rep. Barney Frank, an openly gay Congressman, has come out as being opposed to the events taking place in SF because he fears this civil disobedience will ultimately damage legitamite means being pursued by people like him to estalblish gay marriages/civil unions.

I was a little surprised that one of the groups of anti-gay marriage activists protesting at SF City Hall is headquartered in Philadelphia, from whose suburbs I sprung. Repent America is the name of the group. They even have a web site of the same name which I checked out.

Although I cite the site (Ooh!) I won't provide a link to it. I figure if you feel like checking it out on your own, you can, but it's once more putting the spin religious on things, and as Link clearly stated, we should be keeping things in this thread focused. (Plus there was an annoying pop up demanding to know what brought your attention to the site!)

Is a consensus possible? Everything's possible.
