Hmm! Some crossover classics from list to list. I'm plesantly surprised.

John - I'm sorry you had "bad times" with Citizen Kane, but it seems like you can laugh about them now. Or your emoticon have cleverly decieved us all as to your true emotional state! :lol (Homer Simpson: He's not happy at all! He lied to us through emoticons. Oh, I hate when people do that!)

House on Haunted Hill? Oh, John...:rolleyes :p
That movie is redeemed by Famke alone! ;) :lol
The original is much more hokey. You'll laugh more than cringe, but kudos to Castle and his showmanship.

I think it would be fine if people want to get away with the LOTR trilogy as just one entry on the list. I mean, yeah, 3 separate movies, but telling one overall story. It would be the same as with the Original Star Wars Trilogy or Prequels.

perceval - People on this board like movies from pre-1950? Color me surprised! :p

Casablanca is so misleading. It's a simple story and yet it's not. It's an epic and yet it's quite intimate. A hallmark movie.

Void - A respectible list, but, yeah, maybe Sallie and her big...um...friends should be kept under wraps, hmm? :eek :evil

Is "The Labyrinth" you mention the David Bowie/Jenny Connelly film? I love that movie, actually! I haven't seen it in a yak's age, but I listen to the soundrack ever cople months. (I also see Lab is listed on Swt's list, too.)

Swt - Come on, we really do care! Well, I do, anyway.

She sings! She dances! She dies! ;)

Moulin Rogue takes too much out of me aftering a viewing.

I was going to put "Chicago", but I don't know if it's made my top list as of yet. Still too fresh for me and I don't watch it over and over like I do, say, the LOTR movies, even though I'm always quoting Velma.

phoenixfan - Favorite Guilty Movie Pleasures...2 great tastes that taste great together!

I'll admit to not seeing most of the flicks on your list, but The Patriot was swell and X2 just rocks the world. I did see most of Good Fellas, but never got to the end. :drop
