Link!! You reminded me, bless you! I was trying to remember what movie my sister and I always use to rent as kids along with "Clue" and "Labrynith". It was "NeverEnding Story"! Man, that was a great movie. And "Godsford Park" was pretty good, nothin' wrong with British movies. I'm curious to know, what are all the Spanish titled films you listed about?

I saw a bit of Clockwork Orange when I took film 101...very interesting scene. and I did sit through the whole thing with my ex boyfriend...but, uh, we got distracted (yeah, he wasn't overly romantic, not exactly a movie to make out to). I tried to read the book but I couldn't get into it. I think the rape thing kind of keeps me at bay subconsciously. But reading what you said about it, I might just have to make myself sit down and watch it. While I'm not an overly huge fan, I have quite an appreciation some of Kubericks works, like 2001 etc.

And Star, lol, you saw "War of the Roses" with your girlfriend? Hee hee, no wonder things didn't work out. And man, if there is ever a movie or anything that can turn a person off hetrosexuality, it might be that one. :lol

lol, I know, how typical of me to like Steel Magnolias. But it is like holding a mirror up to life around here. and yeah, Mclaine is GREAT in Steel Mags. And Olympia, I have a hard time deciding on my favorite. But I was in love with Olympia's character from the get go: "We just got back from the dedication. The new Mayor's wife got hit with a baseball. It was fabolous." "Did she get hurt?" "I doubt it, she got hit in the head" :lol But Field does a grand job, too, she is very strong. What the movie says about women is so true, I've seen it a lot lately in my family, how they say men are suppose to be so strong, but in the hospital, it is the women that stays there till the end. and while they say it's men who supress their emotions, women around here do a LOT of it, a lot of plastered smiles while men can be grumpy or happy. double standard of a double standar. :lol
