If you have any interest in reading, a good book to check out is 'The Truth (with Jokes)' by Al Franken. Not only does he actually use credible references for his material, but he raised a very interesting point. He stated that after Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese, President Roosevelt had to bring the United States together, to unite them through a troubled time. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself'. Pretty strong, succinct words, reminding us that as a united, confident nation, we will only lose if we allow our fears (of our enemies) to overcome us. After 9/11, which Bush pulls out every single time he finds himself questioned, Bush's approach was more, "I ask for your continued faith and support of our economy." (From his speech given 9/20/01. Essentially, 'SPEND,SPEND,SPEND'!
