It's a good point to bring up. The human process is indeed, an awesome and inspiring one. It really shouldn't be taken for granted.

I wish there were specials illustrating the life and mindframe of a terrified and overwhelmed teenager who was raped and became pregnant and has nowhere to go or no one to turn to. Or a desperate mother on welfare, who despite using birth control, became pregnant anyway and simply can't afford to have any more children. Or a diabetic mother who's frail body cannot support her and the life of a child as well. I wish people would understand and see that side of life as well.

The stereotype of women who have abortions as unholy capricious whores, is quite wrong. Sometimes it's a distraught neighbor or family member, and having a child is simply an option they, either mentally, physically, or financially, cannot afford. It's a decision women shouldn't take lightly, and hopefully will never have to make. But the option needs to be there.
