Hi all,

I agree with many of you, and of course as Constance said she shouldn't sink to Brevoort level and get nasty, and yes Jean will always be for me the strong and unique heroine that fascinated me more than two decades ago.....
But it really annoy me when a bunch of geeks who somehow managed to get to the top of Marvel decision board are destroying something I hold dear... when they should be professional and and respect the material, characters and universe created long before they were born...
It really annoy me when longtime fans are treated so badly, Jean was killed by fake Magneto 10 years ago for no valid reasons(just because the people in charge didn't like her, or were not able to write her, or wanted to make space for their pet character), we then have been dragged through so many tease over the years, I don't think any other fictional character has been teased as much, so of course her fan are getting a bit tired of waiting, all those teases and each time a big slap in the face, all these" keep an eye to the little girl with red hair" all the Endsong and other stories.....Quesada saying we are taking our time to bring her back as it will have to be a big story...So then AVX happen supposed to be the culmination of years of storyline, Phoenix being a central element of it...and we are told with disdain "No JEAN IS NOT GOING TO BE IN IT , SHE IS DEAD" WHY ARE YOU SO DUMB THAT YOU CAN'T ACCEPT IT???we are compared to fanatics with a distorted view of was is canon...so that piss me off...I didn't pay good money to buy endsong and all the stories with a hint of Jean in it over the last 10 years to have them tell me now that I understood nothing and all those stories were a sort of "what if" or that Jean was high and didn't know what she was saying when she said"WE ARE ONE".
At the end of Endsong you can read the story in two different way, 1- Jean full body ascend to the white hot room, 2 - her body get vaporised by the event horizon and her spirit ascend the WHR....still in the infamous sisterhood story her body is in her grave in the school cemetery?????

As a publisher you have to respect your audience, I think us, Jean fan have been faithfull enough to one of their product to deserve respect... and to be taken into consideration..not bullied and made fun of at every turn...you don't insert hints and clues in stories for 10 years and then tell fans that those clues were never there.....
Anyway it's just the total disregards for continuity and characters that really hurt me.
I had a great time with Marvel, some stories helped me out in time I needed direction....but when I see what marvel have been the last few years it make me sad, it's like a good friend you use to have, but a friend who now have completely changed, you try to maintain the friendship but you know it's not there anymore..and it's hard to let go....

Part of me is actually not really sure Jean should be back under the current Marvel direction, when I see the big movie promo that is AVX, all those stupid stories we got fed the last 10 years, the x-men becoming marie-sueclop show and losing all sense of continuity and so many wonderful characters being reduced to wallpaper or worse behaving like idiots...I think it might be best for Jean to stay in limbo..we should be careful for what we wish, they might bring Jean back to completely rape her personality, I will not be surprise if they finally give her back to us, but turn her into a psycho kittens killer to make Scott and emma look good and spite her fans even more....
They obviously still want Jean's fan money, all those hints are not for nothing and how many clone or duplicate do we have now? Rachel and maddy(who are the only two making sense), red queen, hope, funghi...they want our money but will not give us respect or Jean...you can't have it only your way Marvel, you can't expect to get our money and not delivering what we are paying for!
I know it's comics, but it's still story telling, it should be as good as the best movie or fiction, whatever the medium, story telling need to have a strong concept , respect continuity and characters development. it's unacceptable that an editor get nasty to his audience to hide his lack of talent and professionalism. If Brevoort was too lazy to do his homework, make sure that continuity was respected and previous stories acknowledged, he shouldn't snap at fans pointing it out!
And if Marvel now just want to have new reader aged 6 to 12 who are just after big fight aka some video game(wanna see red hulkb fight big colosonaught)...I guess fair enought...just say it and don't pretend to still give good stories to your audience.
