Tony Stark, compliments of Steve Jobs!
It's pretty bad timing, all things considered. Iron Man turns into the biggest tool of the Marvel Universe just as a movie based on the character gets produced...with the always engaging Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark no less.
I've never counted myself as a fan of Shellhead, but before this Initative nonsense the golden Avenger was a pretty fascinating character--definitely a mortal man with all the foibles and weaknesses that come with the territory, but looking to do more and trying to be better.
So if you can divorce yourself from the current state of Iron Man in the comic books, the movie looks very promising. Especially the exchange with the Leslie Bibb character! And while the music may be cliched, you have to admit that it fits. And so long as it appears ONLY in the trailer, it's fine by me.
Hmph! Where is the Emma Frost movie already?! If that tin-plated alkie despot can secure a Hollywood vehicle than I should be able to as well!
Did you see Britney Spears at the MTV VMAs?
Yes, what of it?
THAT was your Emma Frost movie right there.
