Hi everyone - those of you who have read 152 will know that a certain person makes a reference to a "white crown."
I've found this information which is really interesting. I don't think it constitutes as "spoilers" in a way, but if you haven't read 152 yet then maybe you shouldn't read it as I don't want to spoil anything.
Anyway - here we go.........
Firstly I found this reference whilst playing around on the net. I'm not really one for all this spiritual/new age philosophy but the similiarities are interesting.
"See yourself in a beautiful white room. See yourself standing in a white, loose fitting gown. A white crown is upon your head. Beams that are in harmony with your nature and communication desires are coming down through the ceiling of this room. You will see yourself covered in green, turquoise, blue, violet or magenta. You will see this color coming down and coloring what you are wearing and every other aspect of this room."
It's from some new age site about using colour for spiritual enlightenment & awareness. The website for the whole article is here:

Also (& this I find really interesting) the "White Crown" was an important symbol in ancient Egypt. The goddess (ooh link to Phoenix maybe) Nekhbet was known as the personifaction of "The White Crown of Upper Egypt." She was the goddess of heaven, sometimes related to the sun (another link...) & the protectress of the King of Egypt.
Another really interesting fact is that the White Crown (known as the hedjet) was worn by Assur, a king that according to Egyptian mythology was resurrected by the Goddess Isis. This legend is regarded as the foundation of pagan religion. The crown Assur wore was full of symbolism. It was his:
"heaven crown. Assur could utter a deceased person's name into heaven, or into a higher form of life. Hence, Assur's heaven crown was his utterance crown."
The crown was meant to represent the uterus, with the seed of the afterlife inside. An "egg" shaped object is often shown on top of the crown. So a very powerful representation of rebirth & renewal.
So we have:
1) Spiritual enlightenment & awakening
2) Renewal & rebirth
3) The reference to the egg
4) The goddess connections.
5) Refrences to a higher form of life.
6) Fire & the sun
7) The protectoress
I may be waaaaaayyy off the mark with all this, but it's still really interesting, especially for sad people like me who love mythology & ancient religions.
Of course the only real reference I can think of about "The White Room" is the Eric Clapton song!!
