Bridget Jones: Well part of it took place during X-mas. Blue soup!!!!! 3. Charlie Brown Christmas. It's a classic! I love the SNL cartoon short where the peanuts gang waves their arms around everything to change stuff. 4. Elf. It was cute. 5. The Muppets Christmas Carol. It has Miss Piggy!!! 6. Bad Santa. 7. How the Grinch stole Christmas. There are a bunch more that I know others will mention.

It's a Wonderful Life - Jimmy Stewart Christmas in Connecticut - Barbara Stanwyck Polar Express - Tom Hanks And Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin and the late great John Candy is a personal favorite, even if it is a Thanksgiving movie.

A Phoenix has risen... So pardon me, while I burst into flames, I've had enough of this world, and its people's mindless games. So pardon me while I burn and rise above the flames, pardon me...pardon me...I'll never be the same...

I guess I keep putting it off because it comes on every year. And what, no love for A Christmas Carol? I like the Muppets one, but I also like others, and they have made a GAZILLION of them. These are my favorites of them: 1. SCROOGE - I don't know if people even like this one anymore, they hardly ever show it on t.v. But I love it!! I love a lot of the music, and remembered them long after I forgot a lot of the other movie. That is not to be confused with SCROOGED with Bill Murray. And in speaking of Scrooged, was that one mentioned? 2. A Christmas Carol (1952 version) 3. A Christmas Carol (George C Scott version) - It's probably because I grew up with this one maybe? But I really liked it, and they tried to stay really close to the book. I haven't seen it but I bet the one with Xavierrr.... Patrick Stewart is good too. 4. A Diva Christmas - It is hokey as crap! But I like it, and I like that pseudo 80's song that Vanessa Williams sang for the movie too. On the non-Christmas carol front: * Die Hard 2 - This one actually feels more Christmasy to me, maybe because it was snowing. * When Harry Met Sally - For some reason, this feels like a christmas/holiday movie to me. Maybe because a good chunk of it - and especially the ending - takes place around the holidays. For me when I think of Christmas, I think of the different cartoon specials! 1- Rudolph! - And not the cartoon ones, but those really old clamation ones...did they look creepy when I was little! And they had great songs. And they had a few of them to boot. 2 - The Year Without A Santa Clause! This one would be my favorite for just these two songs alone! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yon2YuXssvo But I liked a lot of the ones you guys said too - I just wanted to add different stuff. Thanks as always Ragey!
